‘Unspoken’ is a painting inside a painting. Both the body and the background are digitally blended to compliment the acrylic paintings within the frame. The portrait acts as a mirror and a reflection, a way of past self-observation. It is a breach in dimensions, a moment in time with a painting of one’s past in a caption being viewed from the physical world unifying all realities as one. A depiction of self-reflection in the trauma that resides in memory.
